Direct Art Prints
Welcome to our streamlined version of high quality Fine Art Printing without the back and forth. These prints are still the same archival pigment prints we are known for and have all of the detail and vibrancy you would expect from our archival pigment print process. The discount comes from submitting the files ready for print through our website.
The process goes like this: you prepare your file(s), sized, include any borders or bleed (extra image to cut off during the trimming process to ensure no paper white shows), upload your job through our online order form, choose your options and we fulfill your order.
We give you the option to pick your job up at our studio or we can ship directly to you or your Client. Easy and straight forward! Once the order is submitted, we will send you an invoice to pay online, then your job will go into our print queue.
These prints are best for Clients confident in their file prep, simple reprints or reruns and they offer a more affordable access to museum quality prints without sacrificing quality.
If you are unsure how your prints will look or what paper you might want to try, you can either order prints on different papers or, visit our Studio Prints page for proofing and imaging help prior to running a larger order.
Paper Options
We have condensed the paper options down to 5 standard papers for this service - Hot Press Natural or Bright (Smooth Rag), Cold Press Natural or Bright (Textured Rag), Smooth Matte (Non-Rag), Standard Photo Luster and Standard Photo Gloss.
Sizes available for our Artist Print Service range from 4"x6" - 60"x120".
File Set Up
We recommend a minimum of 150 dpi at the final print size. Please name your files as follows: File Name_size_quantity.tif. So that would be "ImageA_16x20_10copies.tif. If you are sending multiple images that will print on different papers, please put your files in folders titled by the paper to be used. This will ensure we keep your files orgainzed and output on the proper paper(s).
Please Note: Any size print is available up to 60x120. If your size is not listed, then what ever sheet size your print will fit on will be the charge for your print. UltraChrome Pigment Print Pricing*
Prices below are for each print and are based on final sheet size (image + any desired borders). Copy pricing does not have to be for the same image, however please see file set up instructions. Please call with questions or prices for custom sizes or quantities not listed. We specialize in large quantities and are happy to extend further discounts to larger orders as well as orders with extended turnaround times. There is a $100.00 minimum for our Direct Art Prints.
Turnaround
Normal turnaround is 1-2 weeks. Please Note: While we always try to return your job ASAP, actual turnaround time depends upon quantity, paper stock, size of prints, and current work in house. Please call for scheduling if your job or project requires a quicker turnaround. Rush services are not available for Direct Prints. If your job requires a rush, please see our Studio Prints option.
