Lou Lesko Photography

Project:
Hanson Digital worked directly with Lou Lesko to drum scan a series of 35mm slides for his upcoming book "The Ghost of Communism". The drum scans were made with not only the commercial publication of the book in mind, but also so for the ability to produce oversized, limited edition custom archival prints.

Bright City Books

Project:
These drum scans were made from vintage 11" x 14" black & white archival prints from the Library of Congress, for a book about architect Morris Lapidus and his iconic Fontainebleau hotel, by BrightCity Books, produced for the grand re-opening in Miami Beach after the hotel's $2.6 billion renovation. The prints were drum scanned directly, and the resultant scans were then carefully adjusted to match the originals.

Project:
Various original Silver Gelatin prints, finely crafted by Monica Denevan Photography, were drum scanned and fine tuned by Hanson Digital. The main goal was to retain the integrity of the traditional fine art fiber-based prints when commercially printed.
