Send Files Information
Sending files to Hanson Digital is fast and easy. Use the appropriate form to the right to start your order (or above if on a phone or tablet). If your order contains multiple print types, please fill the form out for each type of process or service.
You will have the option with each form to upload your files. We recommend this method for zip archives 250mb and smaller.
For larger files, we recommend you use our WeTransfer option, which will be much quicker to send your files. To use this method, once you submit the form, you'll have the option to click a link for exclusive WeTransfer page. Please use the same email address used in the online order form.
File Compression
Prior to upload, we highly recommend that you Zip your files before sending. This reduces upload/download time and protects multiple files from corrupting during transmission. Please realize that large files will take longer to upload (e.g., a 1mb file will upload significantly faster than a 1gb file). Upload speeds are determined by the speed of your ISP service as well as which upload option you choose to use.
If you use the WeTransfer option and your job contains multiple print types, please separate the files for each print type in their own folders. For example, if you are doing Metal Prints and Archival Pigment Prints, create a unique folder with your job name, then inside, create a folder called "Metal Prints", then put the files for metal printing in that folder. Additionally, you'll create a folder called "Archival Pigment Prints" and put the files for archival pigment printing in that folder.
Regardless of multiple processes or a single process, we suggest putting all files in a folder and use sub-folders if necessary to keep your job organized.
On a Mac right-click the file or folder, then select "Compress" to zip a file or folder.
On Windows, locate the file or folder that you want to zip. Press and hold (or right-click) the file or folder, select (or point to) "Send to"", and then select Compressed (zipped) folder. A new zipped folder with the same name is created in the same location.
Success
You will also receive an email confirmation that contains all of the information entered in the form including the names of the files you uploaded. Please check that your contact information is correct as this is what we will need to contact you regarding your job. If you do not receive this confirmation email, please check your spam filter.
